Pender’s is in the final phase of development of a new digital sheet music store. When purchasing digital sheet music from Pender’s, you will be able to print your sheet music immediately after purchase, and will have the opportunity to view and interact with your sheet music on on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Many titles are interactive, with playback and transposition features to adjust the tempo, change the note size/zoom level, and more. Some titles also contain built-in annotation functions like text, pen, and highlighter tools!

Association of Disciple Musicians (ADM) Conference

Pender’s Music Co. is thrilled to be supplying performance and reading session music at the Association of Disciple Musicians conference July 15-20 at Oklahoma City University. We’ll also have a music store with a great selection of church related materials available for purchase at the event, and we’ll be offering a 10% church discount! There will be a wide variety of materials available, including piano music, organ music, vocal solo collections, choral octavos, cantatas, music for children, handbell music and supplies. Our goal is to provide excellent service for your music ministry! We hope to see you there!

Oklahoma Bandmasters Summer Convention 2018

The Oklahoma Bandmasters Summer Convention 2018 is just around the corner! Join us July 24 and 25 at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center in Tulsa, OK. We’re bringing a wide selection of new music for marching band, concert band, and jazz ensemble, plus a variety of band texts, CD’s, and DVD’s — whatever you need, you’ll find it at the Pender’s booth! And as a special treat this year, Randall Standridge will be our special guest on Wednesday, July 25 from 11:00-11:45 A.M. Come out to say hello and find great new music for your band!

Southwest Music 2018 Summer Exhibition

July 26–28 in San Antonio, TX

Pender’s will be at the Southwest Music Summer Exhibition in San Antonio again this year with our extensive selection of band, choir, and orchestra materials available for purchase. We’re excited to have Jerry West as a guest in our booth this year as an added bonus!

Teachers and directors: remember your purchase orders if you have them; if you don’t have one at this time, don’t worry! Pender’s will still work to get you the music you need and can send you a bill to pay when you have your PO ready. Our aim is always to provide you with the best possible service and ensure you have everything you need for a great start to a new school year.

Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Summer Convention

Are you attending to the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Summer Convention for 2018? Pender’s will be there! Join us July 16 and 17 at the University of Oklahoma’s Catlett Music Center in Norman, OK. Why You Should Attend a Live Choral Reading Session

Did you ever order a piece for your choir and find out at the first rehearsal that it was much harder than it sounded? You didn’t know that the bass line had so many tricky spots to trip over. We have the solution for that. Attend one of our live reading sessions. You will hear the basses sitting behind you trip over that hard part. You will notice that one of the easiest pieces in the packet is breathtakingly beautiful – something you would have overlooked without a live performance and the collective “ahhh” after the last note. You will get a hint from the conductor/composer about how to use a piece in a way that gives it a whole new life. That person sitting next to you from another church might even share with you how they did something similar that worked well for their church. Then you have a new friend.

We believe there is no substitute for a live reading session. If for no other reason, it is a joy to make beautiful music for three hours with over a hundred fine singers. We think that once you attend one of our live reading sessions, you will not want to miss another. We hear this from past attendees all the time. Contact us if you have any questions.

OKC Summer Sacred Choral Reading Session

This summer, get a head start on the holiday season — select fall and Christmas choral music with clinician Mary McDonald at the OKC Summer Sacred Choral Reading Session!

Join Pender’s Music Co. as Mary McDonald introduces more than 40 new Christmas and General titles from various publishers, all perfect for church choirs!
